Sastanak je organizovalo Ministarstvo zaštite životne sredine zajedno sa SKGO, Ministarstvom javne uprave i lokalne samouprave i ambasadom Švedske u Beogradu tokom 9. aprila u Sava centru sa učešćem preko 60 lokalnih samouprava.

Prisutnima su se obratili oba ministra, glavni sekretar SKGO govoreži o prioritetima i planovima u narednom periodu, izazovima u sprovođenju zahteva u životnoj sredini, i pozvali na unapređenje saradnje između centralnog i lokalnog nivoa.

Ministar Goran Trivan je predstavio rezultate vrlo intenzivnog rada ministarstva u protekle dve godine – pripremama za pregovaranje tj.izradi dokumenta Pregovaračke pozicije sa preko 200 stranica i još dodatnih 1000 drugih pratećih dokumenata. Istakao je da predstoji još intenzivnog rada u narednim mesecima u pripremi svi ovih dokumenata za usvajanje na Vladi Srbije i zvaničnu predaju Pregovaračke pozicije za poglavlje 27 do kraja 2019.godine.

Ambasador Švedske u Beogradu, g.Jan Lundin je podsetio učesnike na činjenicu da Švedska izdvaja trećinu svojih fondova za podršku reformama u životnoj sredini u Srbiji. Pohvalio je rad ministarstva na ovom poglavlju kao deo procesa EU integracija, koji će, naglasio je, biti dug i težak ali sasvim sigurno pozitivan na samom kraju za Srbiju.

Učesnici su imali priliku da tokom sastanka postave pitanja i podele pozitivna iskustva radeći na poslovima zaštite životne sredine.

Meeting, organised in cooperation with SCTM, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of public administration and local-self government and Swedish Embassy in Belgrade, was held on 9th of April in Sava center with representatives from more than 60 LSGs.

Ministers from both ministries, Secretary General of SCTM presented participants their priorities and plans, addressed challenges implementing environmental requirements, called for improved cooperation between central and local levels.

Minister Goran Trivan described to participants results of a very intensive work during last 2 years when preparing for negotiations what lead to development of the Negotiating position document containing 200 pages with additional 1000 pages of more than 10 supporting documents. He mentioned, that still a lot has to be done in the next months preparing all documents for approval at the Government and official submission of Negotiation position for the Chapter 27 end of 2019.

Ambassador of Sweden in Serbia, Mr Jan Lundin, stressed that one third of all Swedish funds is allocated for support to environment reforms in Serbia. He praised the Ministry in its successful work on this chapter, as part of EU integration process for Serbia, pointing out that this process will be long and hard but surely with positive results at the end.

Participants had opportunity to ask questions and share their positive experiences working for environmental protection.
